“It all started with an intense passion for languages and cultures, back in 2007. As an immigrant at an early age, I had the chance to develop skills and cultural knowledge unknown to others. After a few years of being a translator myself, I decided to establish Translation AZ and jump from translating just French-English-Romanian to providing services for nearly all languages on the face of the Earth. It sounds impossible, but technology opened new doors for finding resources. After attending training courses and conferences I was finally ready for Translation AZ and in 2011 I registered the Company with the State of Florida. In 2019, we opened a new location in Bucharest, Romania, my home country, due to an increasing demand for translations in East European languages.

This opened a new door of opportunities as it led us to more contacts within the EU and the UK and as a result, in January, 2024, we expanded our reach to the UK market, by opening our London office.

We now have a system in place with over 300 freelance and in-house Translators, Proofreaders and Designers, managed by Project Managers trained to handle small to large projects globally. I am grateful for what we have become, not just a translation agency but a cultural community in itself, but we continue to learn to preserve our resources and of course, to grow and provide employment for our linguists and language solutions for our clients globally.”
